A week from Friday is supposed to be Armageddon. That date on the Mayan calendar that purports to foretell the end of mankind. Well, I’m here to tell you, that day has come and gone. On November 6, the world as I knew it ceased to exist.

When America re-elected Obama we sealed the country’s doom. With a self-perceived mandate, the progressives in the country will march us straight into socialist hell. Capitalist conservatives like myself never, in a million years, imagined a world like this. But we let it happen. We let the progressive movement takeover the foundation of our civilization; education. They have spent the past 60 years indoctrinating three voting generations with their evil and now we are reaping what we let them sow.

The headlong plunge would not have been possible without the media. Their complicity in the propaganda campaign against the right was the coup de grace. We never had a chance.

So now what happens? Well, the wealthy should and will retreat. If I were rich I would be feverishly planning to protect my money from the have-nots. Yes, I once felt responsible with my wealth and being charitable was a duty. But giving to charities and underwriting untold events that benefited the poor wasn’t good enough. They had to slap me in the face and say I wasn’t entitled to my money and now they are going to take it away. The entitlement class just kicked me in the balls. So be it. You’ll never get another freely given nickel of my largess.

Obama and everyone on the left know that taxing the rich, even at 100% won’t begin to touch the deficit we have created. That’s right. If every American making over $250K was taxed 100% on every cent they made for ten years, we would still fall trillions short.

But sticking it to the rich just makes them feel better about their wretched lives and Obama knew that. That’s why he won.  It took 60 years for America to build up enough losers so they could out vote the winners. And this is what we get.

I for one would welcome an apocalyptic event like a species ending asteroid strike on Friday next. The ultimate reset. Let’s let Darwin take over and hopefully we’ll get it right the next time.meteor-strike

I’ve been trying to read the financial tea leaves for more than 5 years now. That’s when the housing bubble burst for us here in Florida. It was a wake-up call that if you have any money invested in anything, you had better keep a very close eye on it.

Because I am neither an expert investor nor skilled in much of anything financial, I have had to rely on reading what others are saying. My rule of thumb is draw a consensus, divide it in half and read some more. I will say that I have been bearish throughout the entire past 5-years. I started buying gold back when it was in the mid $800’s. That makes me look like a genius.  However, I also moved all my 401k’s to cash. That has caused me to miss a large equity run-up over the past two years.  My broker at Merrill Lynch keeps trying to get me to at least get more than the one half of one percent my money market is earning. He is now touting corporate bonds. What I fear is inflation. It has to occur eventually because we have printed too much money over the past two quantitative easing’s; trillions of new dollars are in the system and the dollar’s value has suffered. Inflation is always the next step. Inflation destroys bond yields.

I still think the shoe has yet to really drop. The world is awash in debt. Some say to the tune of $600 trillion. I’m no expert but I cannot imagine any action short of a complete reset that would correct this. All the stock markets in all the countries of the world are only valued at around $60 trillion or just 10% of the world’s debt. If all these numbers are in fact true, there simply is no way we can get out of this mess without completely blowing up the financial world and starting over.

As I see it, every country’s  actions to this crisis to date is simply stop-gap window dressing. The big boys know what the end game is and they are just buying time before the jig is up.

People scoff at the doom and gloomers; ridiculing those who advocate the stock piling of food, guns and ammo.  Well, I’m officially a member of that tin foil hat club now.

The Mayans foretell of the end times on 12/21/2012… I ‘m not going to bother  making my bed on the 20th.

Update 10-10-11: The perps are caught!

This must surely be a sign of the End Times. Amish on Amish violence.

Meltdown! A solar superstorm could send us back into the dark ages – and one is due in just THREE years

That’s the headline in an article published on April 19, 2009 in Britain’s Daily Mail. The story, by Michael Hanlon, is about the possibility of the Sun essentially ‘burping’ and causing a catastrophic situation here on Earth.

While I have read about that scenario before and understand the possibility of that great ball of thermonuclear fusion someday effecting our lives in ways that are none to appealing…the reference to “in just THREE years” struck a chord.

Mayan calendar

For those who read about ancient cultures, prophecy and predictions for the future of mankind , 12/21/2012 is a familiar date.  That’s the date when the Mayan calendar ends and when, some would argue, mankind will meet its demise. That’s also in about three years.

On December 12, 2012, for the first time in approximately 26,000 years, the Sun will rise to conjunct the intersection of the Milky Way and the  ecliptic plane.  According to the ancient Maya, this date will mark the end of one world as we know it and the beginning of another.

The following is from:  http://adishakti.org/index.htm

The Mayans believed our Sun, every so often, synchronized with the enormous central galaxy.  From this central galaxy it received a ‘spark’ of energy which caused it to shine more intensely producing what our scientists call ‘solar flares’ as well as changes in the Sun’s magnetic field. The Mayans say that this happens every 5,125 years. But also that this causes a displacement in the earths rotation, and because of this movement great catastrophes would be produced.

The Mayans believed the universal processes, like the ‘breathing’ of the galaxy, are cycles that never change. What changes is the consciousness of man that passes through it. Always in a process toward more perfection. Based on their observations, the Mayans predicted that from the initial date of the start of their civilization, 4 Ahau, 8 Cumku which is 3113 B.C., after one cycle being completed 5,125 years in their future, December 21st, 2012. The Sun, having received a powerful ray of synchronizing light from the center of the galaxy, would change its polarity which would produce a great cosmic event that would propel human kind to be ready to cross into a new era, The Golden Age. It is after this, that the Mayans say we will be ready to go through the door that was left by them, transforming our civilization based on fear to a vibration much higher in harmony.

In addition to the Mayans, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce and a host of others have referenced to dramatic shifts in the earth resulting in monumental changes to mankind around this time.

So what are we to make of all this? I for one probably won’t worry about making my bed on December 20, 2012.
