It suddenly struck me that the big difference between liberal and conservative is how they perceive the world. Conservatives see the macro view, worrying themselves with the broad picture. Liberals eschew the big picture and narrow their sights on the micro. Conservatives see the world’s problems (and how to fix them) from a much larger perspective. They don’t get caught up in the little stuff liberals find as the raison d’etre of one’s social situation. Take for instance poverty. Liberals’ solution is to take from the rich and redistribute it to the poor. They don’t bother to ponder why we have poor people and rather than cure the underlying problems causing poverty they just give them money so they aren’t poor anymore. A situation so clearly illustrated by the ‘Teach a man to fish’ axiom. Conservatives, understanding that if the causes of poverty can be addressed at its source the issue is solved in a more correct and permanent way.

Of course the issue is a complicated one and involves social mores and in some cases difficult and painful choices to be made.  Which leads me to my next observation. Liberals tend to be lazy. Humankind’s evolution from the primordial soup has been a long and brutal journey. What we are today reflects the paramount in survivability. Darwin’s recognition that only the strongest and most viable traits survive the march of time caused angst among liberals when it was postulated and it continues to do so today. Why, our president just charged conservatives with using social Darwinism against liberals.

Surviving, let alone succeeding is hard. Liberal leaders don’t want it to be hard (because, as a group, they tend towards laziness) and see an entire class of people they can claim to champion if they can only change the natural laws with liberal legislation.

Of course there are lazy folks of every political persuasion but as a rule, those that are ambitious, hard-working and goal driven, tend to be conservatives. Thus conservatives tend to be the leaders. Yes there are plenty of liberal leaders out there who have figured out how to game the system and rise to a position of authority.  And that is where the ideological war is being fought. In order for them to remain in a position of authority they must continually sell the canard that society must cater to the lowest common denominator.

Which brings us back to the micro vs macro world view. Focusing on the bottom will never get you to the top. It is far easier to exist at the base of the mountain than the summit. But for the hardy few who choose to gaze up, the journey is as exciting as the goal.

This is a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. The  kids were from Heritage Middle School in Ohio. I escorted them on their DC trip last week.

I’d like to think I’m a visionary but even a blind man can see that Barack Obama is a socialist. I said it back in 2009 and yet hardly anyone was willing to dare speak those words. Well, can we call him one now? The damn media was so enamored by the thought of putting a black man in the White House they ignored the facts laying in plain sight. They did then and are continuing now to ignore the ugly facts that clearly show Obama is a socialist.

The undoing of America will be at the hands of the complicit liberal media. This is their agenda. Just as if an enemy’s goal is to invade and conquer another nation the vast majority of the media is waging war on capitalism by supporting this SOB.  It’s war and in war you either win or lose. I will not lose this war and I think a majority of Americans won’t either. Refuse to support the MSM. Tell your friends to do the same. They must be put out of business or America will perish.

Check out the latest from Obama’s Facebook. Every single one of the following photos is taken directly from the official, authorized Obama for America reelection campaign website and Facebook pages. These are the pictures that team Obama hand-picked. That’s the key point here. Yes, we’ve all seen random photos of dumb, awkward, or misspelled signs and placards at Occupy rallies, anti-war rallies, and Tea Party events. But these pictures have been specifically chosen by the Obama 2012 campaign to represent its best and brightest.

Just a sample of the featured gems….

Yeah, I’m white and I’m mocking this black guy…but just so you don’t think I’m a racist….

Two losers…

Here is further proof of the need to impeach the President. He is actively working to subvert the United States of America and in my opinion is an enemy of this country.

The recent dramatic events in Israeli politics underscore the fact that they understand they have no ally in the United States and most probably a foe. I am sure Israel feels like they are being thrown under the bus by the Americans and must do what they have to for the very survival of their nation.

As the polls start to show Obama’s re-election chances slipping, this scum-bag will start doing some unbelievable things to keep his goal of destroying America alive—-and  It’s already happening.

You know you’ve really got a Liberal’s attention when they start crowing about what a sincere loss it is when a Republican Senator gets defeated. Richard Lugar (R) IN, just lost a primary and the seat he’s held for the last 36 years…yeah, 36 years. Now, I’m a conservative and having an ‘R’ locked into the Senate for that long would usually be a good thing. The problem was Lugar was a RINO and judging by the remorse and lament from the left he was a good one. Condolences from the likes of John Kerry, Mother Jones magazine and Obama himself reveal the pain his defeat has and will cause the Left.

(Just added) The Left’s attempt at justifying bi-partisanship and compromise.

The more we hear about the need for bi-partisanship the more I know we’ve got the left on the ropes. They only start wailing  bi-partisanship when they realize they are about to get out voted and lose.

So the ground work is set. We conservatives need to keep up the pressure, sweep the House, Senate and Executive and then step down hard on the liberal neck and never let up. Compromise my ass. The only way to win the war—and make no mistake, we are in the war of our lives, is to crush the enemy.

Just messin’ around…like buds do.
