Lesson #2 – The List Post

Darren Rowse’s second exercise in his 31 Days to Build a Better Blog is to post a list within your blog.

Normally that would be an easy assignment. However, since I haven’t completed the first exercise, which was to develop the ‘pitch’ for the blog or the raison d’etre for the blog in the first place…I’m having difficulties.

I’ll admit, the number one reason I’m having difficulty making my list is because I didn’t do my homework.

#2. Would probably have to do with my proclivity to procrastinate.

#3. Shiny objects tend to distract me.

#4. Every time I do a web search on any subject I end up on a porno site.

#5. The rest of my day is pretty much shot after spending five hours scrubbing my hard drive of nasty, malicious viruses.

#6. The docs are still tweaking my narcolepsy meds…

#7. There is actually a website for narcoleptic swingers.

#8. I made that last one up.

#9. My next blog will be about narcoleptic swingers.

#10. I think I now know why David Letterman doesn’t answer my e-mails.
